In the fall of 2022, our Macie May began limping, and the vet couldn't seem to find a reason why. They prescribed her a few different treatments, but none of them seemed to help her improve. I was doing research to try to find something that could improve her quality of life when I learned about how unhealthy big-brand dog food can be. These companies often use high heat to increase the shelf life of the food, which can not only lead to various health issues but also reduce the average lifespan of our furry friends.

What dogs need is natural and healthy ingredients that haven’t been overprocessed. So I started by getting locally sourced chicken and grass-fed beef liver. Then, by dehydrating the meat instead of cooking it with high heat, it retained its nutrients and allowed her to digest it without any issues. I combined that with other healthy vegetables and used it as a topper on her regular dog food.

After feeding her this instead of just the dry, processed food, Macie May started to get better, and now, she's living her best life! She's our happy, healthy girl once again.
